About the role:

As the Head of Partnerships, you shall be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and taking the lead in finding potential partners for our latest project - Lentra Loanways. Lentra Loanways is Lentra's Lending Gateway that enables leads to be funneled from various digital and phygital sources to be analysed and passed onto relevant lenders to fulfill India's credit requirements.

We are looking for individuals with 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry who can assist us with partnerships with 2 target categories :

- Banks, Fintechs and NBFCs

- B2C companies such as OEMs, E-commerce players, marketplaces, brands, aggregators

The individual is expected to engage in the following 3 categories of partnerships:

- With lending institutions to build a supply of credit

- With NBFCs, SFBs, PSBs to enter into co-lending arrangements with our larger lenders

- With B2Cs to create a source of leads for our lenders (DSA model)

Prerequisites :

- 2+ years of experience in a partnership role in the financial services sector. Preferably in the lending ecosystem.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

Key responsibilities:

- Account Management Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end management of lending partnerships, ensure a high level of client satisfaction and deliver YoY book and revenue growth, working on both large and small NBFCs and banks.

- Product and Process Understanding: Have a good understanding of the working product (term loans, PL/BL loans, credit card, etc.), engagement model (Co-lending Model, Banking Correspondent Model, FLDG/NON-FLDG) and business processes to be able to hold partner conversations with confidence

- Lending Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for establishing and expanding lending partnerships in alignment with business objective

- New Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the midmarket, SMEs, and startup segments to expand the lending partnership portfolio.

- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, regularly reporting on the success and challenges of lending partnerships, with actionable insights for continuous improvement.

- Traveling: The role requires the candidate to travel frequently to cultivate and maintain partnerships effectively. Engage with lending institutions, clients, and stakeholders on-the-ground to strengthen relationships and drive partnership success.

What your day-to-day shall look like in this role :

- Develop new partnerships and alliances by initiating, structuring, negotiating and maintaining relationships with Lending Fintech's, Marketplace aggregators, Digital aggregators to drive revenue growth for the organization.

- Have worked closely with OEM's, retailers and B2C clients especially in CD,TW and small loans.

- Take full ownership of identifying, onboarding, taking live and scaling Fintech partnerships.

- Manage internal stakeholder and liaise with different departments like tech, ops, risk, infosec, legal etc. to ensure everyone's timely approval for different activities.

- Work with partners to start and scale different lending products and programs like CD, TW, PL, BL, CC, LAP, GL etc.

- Develop program notes and model and work with tech to integrate with partner.

- Projectize the partnership engagement and undertake all activities necessary for on time go live.

- Handling post go live activities like ensuring continuous business from different Fintech partners.

- Handling and monitoring the Fintech based transactions by liaising with the Fintech partner team and Internal Transaction team.
