Vacancy—Accountant (Indian Accounting)Job briefWe are looking for an accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring were compliant with all tax regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting transactionsPublish financial statements on timeReconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely bank paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsReport on the company's financial health and liquidityReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryComply with financial policies and regulationsRequirements and skillsExcellent Knowledge of TallyExcellent knowledge of Advanced Excel including Vlookups and pivot tablesExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including theGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsB.Com in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degreeAdditional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
