Role Overview :


We are looking for an experienced Murex Functional Tester specializing in Treasury Front Office operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of Treasury products and front office workflows, and be proficient in Murex testing, covering the full trade lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to write detailed functional test scenarios, and a thorough understanding of Murexs trading, pricing, and risk modules.


Key Responsibilities :


- Develop detailed functional test scenarios and test cases for Treasury Front Office workflows.


- Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle events in the Murex platform.


- Perform functional testing of trade capture, validation, processing, and settlement.


- Test pricing modules, ensuring accuracy of valuation and risk analytics.


- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Treasury products including Fixed Income securities, Money Market instruments, and Derivatives (Swaps, Options, Futures).


- Understand front office trading operations and workflow processes.


- Validate trade capture screens including pricing and e-trade pad functionalities.


- Test pre-trade checks, deal capture, and booking processes ensuring compliance with business rules.


- Work closely with front-end trading systems and ensure seamless integration with Murex.


- Configure and test Murex simulation modules, scenario analysis, and custom view creations.


- Build and validate dynamic tables and trade queries within the Murex environment.


- Validate rate curves, generators, currency pairs, and market data feeds for accurate pricing.


- Thoroughly test the full trade lifecycle including trade entry, confirmation, settlement, and

post-trade processes.


- Verify event processing such as corporate actions, coupon payments, and settlement instructions.


-Validate reconciliation processes including static data reconciliation, P&L, market value,

Greeks, cash flows, and position reconciliation.


- Test various reconciliation reports and ensure data integrity across systems.


- Validate end-of-day and intraday reporting mechanisms.


- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including user manuals, test plans, and defect reports.


- Provide functional support during UAT and production rollouts.


Must-Have Skills and Experience :


- In-depth understanding of Treasury Front Office operations focused on Fixed Income, Money Market, and Derivatives products.


- Strong knowledge of Murex modules related to pricing, trade capture, simulation, and market data.


- Experience in writing detailed functional test cases and performing thorough testing.


- Familiarity with Murex dynamic table creation, trade queries, and view configuration.


- Experience with rate curves, currency pairs, and market data management.


- Good understanding of trade lifecycle and event processing in a treasury environment.


- Proven ability to test front-end trading system integration with Murex.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
