L3 Azure Support Engineer

Responsibilities :- Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for Azure infrastructure issues.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking components.- Monitor performance, availability, and security of Azure resources using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.- Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to optimize cloud deployments and implement best practices.- Manage and maintain Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, and App Services.- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document incident reports.- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates.- Ensure compliance with security policies and governance standards.- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.- Mentor L1 and L2 support engineers and contribute to knowledge base documentation.This resource will interface with Functional Managers, IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, Legal, Risk Management, etc.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and support.- Strong expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and identity management.- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).- Solid understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments.- Familiarity with hybrid cloud setups and on-prem integration (VPN, ExpressRoute).- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
