Job Responsibilities:

The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's comprehensive marketing strategy. This role includes brand management, customer acquisition, digital marketing, GTM, public relations, and other marketing functions. He/She collaborates with other executive team members to align marketing efforts with the company's strategic goals, driving growth and fostering a strong market presence.

Some of the core areas of responsibility would be:

  • Develop and execute a long-term marketing strategy that supports the organization's business goals, including revenue growth and brand recognition.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee all marketing functions, including digital marketing, content creation, product marketing, public relations, and advertising.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and risks to guide marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the design team to churn out high quality sales collaterals and advertising creatives
  • Establish and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking return on investment (ROI).


Key Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in marketing along with some experience in marketing of D2C websites. Experience in Ed-Tech is a preferred but not a necessary condition
  • Experience of handling marketing budgets of more than 50 lacs a month for one business
  • Deep understanding of online conversion businesses, its core metrics and growth drivers.
  • Exceptionally well-organized with zero tolerance of leakage of any commitments
  • Openness to work as an individual contributor on certain projects along with managing the team.
  • Ability to connect with customers, sales and service teams to have a clear pulse of market
  • Exceptional listening, presentation and communication skills
