For our Company in Mumbai, we are looking for an Air Pricing Senior who will be responsible for managing and preparing commercial offers related to air freight services, both import and export.

The role involves conducting in-depth analyses of shipping requirements to deliver timely, accurate, and tailored quotations, while safeguarding the company's profit margins.

What will your key activities be:

  • Executing the commercial strategy for Air services and ensuring its effective implementation;
  • Applying company best practices for Air freight, monitoring adherence, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement;
  • Negotiating rates for origin/destination-related services with foreign/local agents, GSAs, and airlines;
  • Preparing both spot and tariff-based quotations, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction;
  • Coordinating initial operational instructions for import and export shipments;
  • Analyzing costs and revenues related to air shipments;
  • Identifying supplier strengths and weaknesses to support sourcing decisions;
  • Managing follow-ups on quotations and developing proposals for recurring shipments;
  • Reviewing and optimizing the quotation process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What we are looking for:

  • A proactive, goal-oriented professional with a proven track record of at least 4-5 years in similar roles;
  • Good analytical and conceptual reasoning skills;
  • Strong numerical ability and familiarity with data analysis;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Strong understanding of Air freight operations;
  • Familiarity with CargoWise and/or Salesforce.
