Position Overview:
- The Associate Director - Cataloguing and Content will lead the cataloguing team, ensuring that our product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimized for conversion.
- This role is critical for enhancing the customer experience by developing and implementing cataloguing strategies and frameworks for all product categories.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an innovative mindset, and a deep understanding of cataloguing best practices and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
SOP Development:
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cataloguing and content management on the app.
- Develop SOPs for product images, content, descriptions, and attributes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Ensure all SOPs are up-to-date and align with industry best practices and company standards.
Framework Creation:
- Develop comprehensive frameworks for cataloguing across existing and new product categories.
- Establish guidelines for product images, ensuring high-quality and consistent visual presentation.
- Define standards for product content, descriptions, and attributes to provide clear and informative listings.
- Continuously assess and refine these frameworks to meet the evolving needs of the business and enhance user experience.
Conversion Optimization:
- Design and implement experiments to improve the conversion rate from Product Detail Page (PDP) to Add to Cart (ATC).
- Analyze data from these experiments to identify successful strategies and integrate them into regular practice.
Industry Best Practices:
- Establish and maintain best-in-class cataloguing and search functionalities to improve customer experience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep our cataloguing practices competitive.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of cataloguing executives, ensuring timely and accurate cataloguing processes.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
