TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Intermediate business process knowledge and ability to provide context to requirements.

• Implementation experience in reporting solutions based on SAP Native HANA.

• Expert level knowledge of at least one of the SAP data warehousing solutions like SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA for both modelling and scripting including ability to write complex stored procedures. High level knowledge of various replication methods to HANA or BW

• Experience working on mixed modelling with BW/4HANA and HANA native modelling.

• Responsible for technical implementation of the business model using HANA or BW/4HANA, performance improvements, replication of data from source systems.

• Minimum 3 full life cycle implementations in one or more of the following skills: SAP Native HANA, SAP BW, CDS views.

• Experience in collecting requirements and designing of solutions.

• Able to gather functional requirements and convert them into technical designs

• Strong communication skills, oral and written including ability to conduct informal presentations and workshops.

• Expert working knowledge with data cleansing, aggregating, transforming and validating the data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Demonstrate Strong conceptual reasoning and discretionary judgment.

• Intermediate knowledge of an SDLC process.

• Strong working knowledge with integrating SAP BW4/Hana with non-SAP operational systems. Python experience a plus.

• Intermediate knowledge in ABAP is an added advantage.

• Moderate working knowledge with researching OSS, service packs, BW versions & plug-in information.

• Moderate working knowledge upgrade application processes and all aspects of system testing.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related subject, or equivalent additional work experience required.

• 8 -10+ years SAP Business Warehouse implementation experience, preferably in a corporate manufacturing environment.

• Courses or certifications in SAP BI solutions preferred.
