SAP ABAP ML Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with a solid background in Managed Logistics (ML) and a comprehensive understanding of SAP modules and integration techniques with SD and MM. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in ABAP development, logistics processes, and SAP integration to optimize and enhance our SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• ABAP Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Utilize ABAP debugging, variable declaration, loops, and breakpoints to troubleshoot and optimize code.
• Create and manage ABAP CDS Views, Smart Forms, and RAP/CAP applications.
• Implement and maintain ALE, IDOC, RFC, and BRF+ integrations.
• Managed Logistics (ML):
• Configure and manage end-to-end logistics processes in S4 HANA, including logistics execution, delivery configuration, and master data management.
• Oversee and enhance Managed Logistics processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and optimization of supply chain operations.
• Develop and manage interfaces for logistics processes, including IDOC and EDI message integration.
• SAP Integration:
• Apply knowledge of SAP integration techniques, including IDOC, ALE, EDI messages, and transaction monitoring.
• Engage in end-to-end process analysis and solution design, providing technical leadership and mentoring.
• Project Participation:
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams, guiding technical solutions and implementations.
• Utilize agile methodologies for SAP implementations and provide Hypercare support for changes deployed to production.
• Technical Expertise:
• Demonstrate proficiency in SAP GTS, P&M, LE modules and related processes.
• Ability to read and follow functional specifications and develop solutions accordingly.
• Manage and troubleshoot various interfaces and integration points between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of SAP implementation experience with strong ABAP development skills and Managed Logistics configuration knowledge.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including debugging, variable declaration, and development of reports and interfaces.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Managed Logistics processes, including S4 HANA, IDOC, ALE, EDI, and BRF+.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
