the jobPosition Title: Junior Advocate Location: Bangalore Department: Legal Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Gender Preference: Male Language Requirement: Must be able to read and write in Kannada Job Summary: - We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Advocate to join our Legal team.- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in real estate laws, revenue matters, property documentation, and litigation procedures.- The role also involves legal documentation, court appearances, and liaison work with external counsel.- The position requires flexibility in working hours, especially for post-office visits and legal errands.Key Responsibilities: - Visit external counsels office post 6:30 PM for case discussions and document submissions.- Attend court hearings, police stations, and other judicial/quasi-judicial bodies as required.- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents including property and revenue records.- Provide legal support on real estate projects, title verification, land acquisition, RERA compliance, and due diligence.- Conduct legal research and provide support in case preparation.- Maintain and update case files, follow up on hearing dates, and ensure timely compliance.- Coordinate with internal departments for gathering necessary information and documents.- Liaise with external legal consultants and advocates on ongoing matters.- Translate and interpret Kannada legal documents when required.Required Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation or corporate legal field with exposure to revenue matters and real estate transactions.- Proficiency in reading and writing Kannada is mandatory.- Strong understanding of revenue documents, property documentation, and court procedures.- Familiarity with real estate laws, RERA regulations, land records, and registration processes.- Excellent communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle sensitive legal issues with discretion and professionalism.- Willingness to travel locally and work beyond standard office hours when required (ref:iimjobs.com)
