The Account Strategist plays a pivotal role in managing and growing client accounts by crafting and implementing effective marketing strategies. This individual will be the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on goals, delivering high-quality results, and driving measurable success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a deep understanding of marketing trends, consumer behavior, and data-driven strategies.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, trusted relationships.
- Understand client objectives, challenges, and industries to provide tailored strategic recommendations.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to discuss progress, gather feedback, and align on upcoming initiatives.
- Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve client goals, encompassing digital, print, and experiential channels.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and analytics teams to execute campaigns effectively.
- Analyze campaign performance, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Market and Consumer Insights
- Research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform strategy.
- Leverage data tools and platforms to extract insights and create impactful campaigns.
- Monitor market changes and proactively suggest adjustments to strategies.
- Project Management
- Ensure all deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet client expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Business Development
- Identify opportunities for account growth by recommending additional services or campaigns to clients.
- Participate in new business pitches and presentations as required.

- Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM platforms, CRM software, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like Trello or Asana.
- Analytical Skills
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and create actionable plans.
- Experience with ROI and KPI tracking for marketing campaigns.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or professional certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, etc.) are a plus.
- Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or marketing strategy.
- Agency experience is highly preferred.
- Client satisfaction and retention rates.
