Position Overview:
- The Sales and Marketing Manager will drive the sales and business development efforts for pharmaceutical products, focusing on Finished Dosage Forms (FDFs).
- The role involves managing global sales strategies, penetrating new markets, and overseeing product development and launches.
- The ideal candidate will leverage extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry to enhance product presence, secure government tenders, and navigate regulatory environments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Out Licensing.
- Drive Out Licensing strategy and partnership for FDF in China, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
- Revenue Generation, Contract Negotiation , and build strong relationships with customers and distributors.
- Expertise in Forecasting Models, Business case Development, Negotiation, Closure of Commercial agreements.
- Evaluate, Select and Shortlist the partner and develop a strong partner network in the region.
- Monitor and Measure Revenue performance for commercialized products in the region.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and white spaces.
- Portfolio Management and Launch.
- Drive Portfolio selection, Product Development and Filing objectives in alliance with CFTs to meet near-term and long-term business objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with R&D, IP, and Project Management Teams to ensure on-time submissions of new product filings in the region.
- Drive End to End launch activities for new products in the region in alliance with Cross functional task force.
- Manage distribution channels and oversee operational management to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- An MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry in the formulation segment.
- Proven track record of managing sales, expanding product portfolios, and navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Experience in handling FDF sales, with a strong background in market penetration and business development.
Skills:
- Strong market and competitive analysis skills.
- Strong skill sets in financial modeling, business case preparation, and hypothesis development, with a strong ability to present innovative product positioning and strategic marketing strategies.
- Expertise in data management and analysis.
- Excellent sales training.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management.
- Effective contract negotiation and operational management skills.
- Fluent in English with a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and viewpoints.
