Area Sales Manager

Overview:
A Leading cosmetic Company is seeking an experienced and passionate Area Sales Manager to manage and expand sales operations within the salon products division. This role demands someone active in the market, constantly driving field sales, and who thrives on interacting with people daily.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory & Channel Management:
o Drive sales within the designated territory by managing a network of distributors and front-line sales teams to achieve annual business targets while maintaining cost efficiency.
o Actively engage in the market, consistently performing legwork to understand and meet the needs of the region.
o Drive in-salon activations to boost sales and brand presence.
Sales Operations:
o Ensure efficient Route-to-Market (RTM) fundamentals including coverage, productivity, distribution, and in-store merchandising. Maintain systems and process hygiene.
o Design region-specific trade schemes to cater to the unique demands of the northern region.
o Drive a minimum of 12x ROI through strategic sales initiatives.
New Product Launches:
o Lead the execution of new product or initiative launches in the market, ensuring excellent on-ground execution.
o Build a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs), Technical Trainers, and Go-To-Market (GTM) specialists focused on the northern region.
Customer Relationship Management:
o Develop strong relationships with key account salons and hold influence over the standalone salon market.
o Drive the professional and in-salon retail business by fostering relationships and engaging in joint business planning.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams like marketing and trade marketing to capitalize on market opportunities, drive projects, and manage business plans and Education: Post-graduate from Tier 1/Tier 2 universities.
Experience: 4-7 years in Sales/Trade Marketing, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Professional Beauty industry and the North Strong planning, project management, and commercial acumen.
o Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and execute tasks hands-on.
o Experience in cross-functional work between sales, marketing, customer service, finance, and HR.
Travel: Willingness to travel.
Team Leadership:
Proven experience in managing teams and driving on-ground sales efforts.
