We're looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the seamless management of our warehousing operations.Key Responsibilities:- Warehouse Operations Management- Oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse, ensuring a smooth flow of inbound and outbound logistics.- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics like throughput, order accuracy, and inventory turnover.- Vendor Management- Manage relationships with warehousing & logistics partners, suppliers, and other third-party vendors.- Client Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring timely resolution.- Understand client requirements and align warehouse operations to meet their SLAs (Service Level Agreements).- Regularly provide clients with operational insights and updates through performance reports and review meetings.- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement- Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.- Team Leadership & Training- Lead a team of warehouse supervisors, associates, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.- Develop and implement training programs to upskill the team on SOPs, safety protocols, and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS).- Monitor and manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle employee grievances.- Data Analysis & Reporting:- Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, inventory tracking, and generating detailed reports.- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on warehouse operations, KPIs, and cost management.- Use data-driven insights to forecast demand, manage capacity planning, and ensure optimal stock levels.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Educational Background:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.- Experience:- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.- Proven track record in managing end-to-end warehouse operations, vendor relationships, and client coordination.- Technical Skills:- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions).- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and other supply chain management tools.- Strong understanding of logistics workflows, inventory control, and transportation management.- Soft Skills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manage challenges in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.- A collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.- Opportunities for professional development and Days: Monday to SaturdayWorking Hours: 10 am to 7 pm (ref:iimjobs.com)
