Job Title: Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

The Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing project budget to ensure they are completed on time, within budget. This role involves controlling cash flow, managing project budgets, meeting with clients, payment to suppliers to understand their needs, and ensuring project profitability. Strong team management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives and customer expectations.
  1. Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and control project cash flow, ensuring that expenses are tracked and managed according to the project budget.
  • Implement strategies to manage project costs effectively and maintain positive cash flow.
  1. Customer Relations:
  • Meet with clients regularly to discuss project status, updates, and address any concerns.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the project team, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging team members to perform at their best.
  • Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor progress to meet project milestones.
  1. Project Profitability and Budget Control:
  • Ensure the project stays within the approved budget while optimizing resources and maximizing profitability.
  • Track and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks that could impact project success, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Provide regular reports on project status, budget utilization, and cash flow.
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including meeting notes, change requests, and project deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business or Chartered Accountant.
  • Proven experience in project management with a focus on cash flow control, team management, and profitability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial management abilities.
