The Head of New Initiatives will be responsible for driving high-impact, innovative projects that advance our mission. This role blends strategic vision, entrepreneurship, and execution across initiatives ranging from new programs and partnerships to special projects and industry engagement.Role Overview:1. Lead the conceptualization and execution of new initiatives that align with our strategic goals and growth plans.2. Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and differentiation3. Serve as the go-to person for launching experimental programs, piloting new models, and forging industry partnerships.Key Responsibilities:- Develop, assess, and manage special projects (new courses, events, outreach campaigns, research centers, or digital products) from ideation to implementation.- Build and nurture strategic collaborations with industry leaders, startups, corporates, and other academic institutions.- Oversee project management functions: planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of initiatives; ensure alignment with overall business objectives.- Drive stakeholder engagement: coordinate with faculty, staff, students, industry practitioners, and alumni to ensure buy-in and successful execution of initiatives.- Monitor industry trends and leverage insights to design future-ready, disruptive educational experiences.- Track progress, prepare impact reports, and share regular updates with the senior leadership team.- Inspire a culture of innovation and experimentation across teams and projects.Candidate profile:- Ivy League MBA, ex-founder, or 4+ years leadership experience at successful startups, with a focus on operational excellence and strategic execution.- Proven track record in leading complex, multi-team operations, preferably in a high-growth or educational environment.- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levelsAbout us:Masters' Union is a modern business school offering an industry-immersive education model.
