We are looking for a seasoned finance leader to drive financial strategy, discipline, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for an ex-Head of Finance with startup experience, strong FP&A expertise, and an MBA + CA background. You will not only own core finance operations but also partner closely with leadership on business strategy, growth planning, and new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & FP&A

- Lead long-term financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

- Partner with leadership on strategic decisions, growth bets, and capital allocation.

- Provide business insights through financial analysis to enable data-driven decisions.

2. Financial Discipline & Governance:

- Ensure robust internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness across all financial processes.

- Oversee internal & statutory audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely closure.

- Strengthen processes around cash flow, treasury, and working capital management.

3. Financial Operations:

- Supervise day-to-day finance functions: accounting, reconciliations, monthly closures, MIS, and statutory filings.

- Drive automation and system implementation to scale financial operations efficiently.

- Manage vendor payments, taxation (GST, TDS, etc.), ROC filings, and other compliance requirements.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work with Ops, Marketing, and Admissions to align financial goals with business outcomes.

- Partner with leadership on investor relations, fundraising, and board-level reporting.

- Lead cross-functional projects and support new business initiatives with financial modeling and due diligence.

Ideal Candidate:

- MBA (Finance) from Tier-1 institute + Chartered Accountant (both strongly preferred).

- 6-10 years of experience, with at least 3+ years heading finance in a startup or high-growth environment.

- Proven expertise in FP&A, strategic planning, and audit management.

- Strong experience in building systems and processes from scratch.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills - comfortable engaging with investors, auditors, and senior leadership.

- Analytical, execution-driven, and adaptable with an entrepreneurial mindset.
