The role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and community-level support to ensure reliable renewable energy access.Key Responsibilities• Install and maintain solar PV systems, batteries, and inverters• Perform AC/DC wiring, troubleshooting, load testing, and preventive checks• Monitor system performance, record daily meter readings & generation data• Coordinate with local operators for smooth site operations• Assist in inspections, commissioning, and field documentation• Support awareness/training sessions during visitsTechnical Requirements• Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, cable termination, and safety protocols• Hands-on experience with inverters, charge controllers, and diagnostic tools• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and identify faults• Proficiency in Excel for operational reportingPreferred Attributes• Experience in solar EPC/O&M or electrical fieldwork (2–3 years)• Comfortable working in rural field conditions• Hindi & English required; Nagamese/Bengali an advantageAdditional Details• Shared accommodation at project sites• First relocation from Kolkata supported• Mandatory short orientation at Kolkata HQEligibilityDiploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Renewable EnergyExperience: 2–3 years in solar installation, O&M, or electrical maintenanceCompensation₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
