Territory Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospective customers within the territory, and develop relationships to drive sales opportunities.
  • Conduct regular sales visits and meetings with customers to understand their needs, address inquiries, and promote products or services.
  • Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to customers to showcase features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, and ensure timely and accurate documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management roles, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

  • Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Presentation Skills: Delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics.
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the relevant industry or sector.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
