Product Manager

SonyLIV is seeking smart, driven and experienced Product Manager (SVOD, SaaS products). The incumbent is responsible to develop product requirements, analyze trends, drive the product vision and strategy, and partner with Engineering and Product design to manage the execution of the overall product roadmap.
Location - Bangalore
POSITION SPECIFICATION
Education - Graduate/ Post Graduate, MBA desired; undergraduate degree is a must, technical degree highly preferred
Overall Experience - 3-4 years of PM experience in large scale B2C subscriptions or SaaS products. Proven experience in subscription management and a deep understanding of CLM. 6+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years’ experience with consumer Internet or Web-based technology products and services.
Desirable experience - Managing Product in Digital Video Platform
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Subscription Lifecycle Management (Subs CLM): Understand and optimize every stage of the subscriber journey, from onboarding, subscriber conversion to to subscription renewal.
- Retention & Churn Management: Develop and execute strategies to maximize subscription retention and minimize churn, ensuring subscriber satisfaction and engagement.
- End-to-End Platform Development: Understand the business models, define the challenges and own the entire subscription platform experience, driving development from ideation through execution and beyond.
- Data-Driven Insights: Define and leverage data warehouse and analytics tools to uncover insights, track performance, and make informed decisions that enhance the platform.
- Predictive Modeling: Collaborate with data science teams to build and refine models that anticipate user behaviors, forecast churn, and inform proactive retention efforts.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Experience in building and interpreting predictive models
- Prior payments experience is a plus
- PM experience in large scale B2C subscriptions or SaaS products
- Proven experience in subscription management and a deep understanding of CLM
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in building platforms and internal tools
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams, particularly business, data science and engineering
- An ability to navigate data warehouses, understand key metrics, and drive data-informed decisions
