Role SummaryAs a Presales Architect in the Energy BU, you will be the key technical strategist and solution architect partnering with sales leadership to drive complex, high-value opportunities across energy domains. Your expertise in energy technologies and digital transformation will enable you to craft innovative, scalable solutions that align with client business objectives and Cyient’s strategic vision.Key Responsibilities- Lead presales architectural design and solutioning efforts for large-scale energy projects across oil & gas, utilities, and renewable energy sectors. - Act as the principal technical advisor to clients and internal teams during the sales lifecycle, influencing solution strategy and technical roadmap. - Collaborate closely with C-suite executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand strategic challenges and translate them into comprehensive solution architectures. - Drive and present complex demos, PoCs, and technical workshops focused on digital transformation, IoT, AI/ML-enabled predictive maintenance, digital twin, and asset lifecycle management specific to energy. - Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging Cyient’s service portfolio including engineering, data analytics, cloud, and IoT platforms tailored to the energy sector. - Develop and lead responses to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring compelling value propositions and competitive differentiation. - Mentor and guide junior presales and technical consultants within the Energy BU. - Stay updated on emerging energy industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and technology advancements to position Cyient as a market leader. - Partner with marketing and product teams to influence product development and create energy-specific collateral and thought leadership content. - Support strategic account management by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client business goals.Required Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. - Minimum 12 years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or consulting roles focused on the energy sector. - Deep domain expertise in oil & gas exploration & production, utilities, renewable energy, or related industries. - Strong knowledge of digital energy technologies: IoT/IIoT, digital twin, asset lifecycle management, AI/ML applications, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and advanced analytics. - Proven experience architecting and delivering complex, large-scale energy solutions in a presales context. - Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach. - Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and presales automation tools preferred. - Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events as required.What We Offer- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies driving the energy sector’s digital transformation. - Opportunity to work with global clients on transformative energy projects. - Collaborative and innovation-driven work culture focused on continuous learning. - Competitive compensation package and career growth opportunities within Cyient.
