Sales Account Manager

Job Title: Account Sales Manager (Digital/Embedded/Mechanical)-- AUTOMOTIVE DOMAIN Experience Required: 7-10+ Years of relevant experience Location: Bangalore, India Key Responsibilities: •Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue, margin and DSO targets. •Own and drive end-to-end CONSULTATIVE sales for engineering and digital services in the assigned region (Embedded, Mechanical, Digital, and IT services). •Develop / Contribute to a go-to-market strategy to grow existing accounts and acquire new clients in Transportation and Mobility (including Automotive and Rail). •Generate qualified leads, nurture opportunities, and manage the complete sales lifecycle—from prospecting to contract closure. •Build and maintain relationships across different levels – including V and C levels – and key decision-makers within target client organizations. •Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and solution teams to craft client-specific value propositions and proposals. •Drive account mining and farming activities within existing customers to identify new service lines and cross-sell opportunities. •Maintain a healthy and well-qualified pipeline using CRM tools. •Provide accurate sales forecasts, competitive intelligence, and market trends to leadership. •Ensure alignment between client needs and delivery teams for successful project execution and long-term customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred. •7-10+ years of experience in selling technology/engineering services ideally with global delivery models. •Proven success in account management – preferably within Transportation and Mobility domain for engineering services. •Good understanding of embedded systems, digital transformation, product engineering, and IT services. •Demonstrated ability to engage with senior client stakeholders (CTO, VP Engineering, CIO, etc.). •Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. •Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing proposals and sales forecasts.
