Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Executive - Business Development to join our team. As a pivotal member of our sales and business development department, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving growth for our agency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.


Key Responsibilities:


New Business Acquisition:

  • Identify and target potential clients for across all the services offered by the agency.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.


Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their marketing needs.
  • Should be good in storytelling and presenting
  • Conduct client consultations and presentations to effectively communicate our agency's capabilities and services.
  • Address client inquiries and provide expert solutions.
  • Should be able to catch any opportunities for cross-selling or upselling

Proposal and Pitching:

  • Prepare and present persuasive proposals and pitches in collaboration with the team to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop customised solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, close deals, and secure contracts.


Market Intelligence:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Use market insights to inform client engagement and business development strategies.


Sales Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and goal achievement.
  • Should know industry and agency pricing to make proposals with proper pricing and evaluate competition pricing
  • Should know targets and numbers in terms of understanding revenue and profit targets


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, project management, and creative teams, to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in business development or sales, in the advertising and marketing industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a passion for advertising and marketing.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
  • Well-dressed and presentable
