Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant HR Manager to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, with a strong focus on end-to-end recruitment. Experience in the immigration industry will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates to meet organizational needs.
  • HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including payroll processing, employee records management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives to promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process and assist managers in implementing improvement plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and performance.
  • HR Policies: Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Immigration Industry Focus: If applicable, leverage knowledge of the immigration industry to recruit talent with relevant expertise.
  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to align HR practices with business objectives.
  • Reporting: Maintain and present HR metrics and reports to track recruitment, retention, and other HR-related activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and HR operations. Prior experience in the immigration industry is highly desirable.
  • Recruitment Expertise: Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving employee and organizational issues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR management software and MS Office applications.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
