We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to support the accounting department in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.Key Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND AS, IFRS)- Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with finance teams- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory requirements, and company policies- Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and analysis to aid strategic decision-making- Implement and improve accounting processes and systems for enhanced efficiency and accuracy- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as requiredQualifications & Skills:- MBA in Finance- 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles,- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requiremen (ref:iimjobs.com)
