We are seeking an energetic and target-drivenRegional Manager – Salesto manage and growmid-market accountsforANSYS simulation software . The role involves developing new business, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have strong technical sales expertise in engineering software and a passion for solution-based selling.Key Responsibilities: Drive business growth forANSYS simulation solutionswithin mid-market and SMB accounts in the assigned region. Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert opportunities into successful sales. Manage and expand existing accounts by understanding customer pain points and offering the right ANSYS solutions. Collaborate closely with thepre-sales and technical teamsto deliver effective product demonstrations and solution presentations. Develop account plans and strategies to maximize market share and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and ANSYS channel stakeholders. Participate in industry events, webinars, and workshops to enhance brand awareness and generate leads. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement and post-sales support coordination.Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automotive, aeronautical, or related engineering discipline. 5–7 years of experience intechnical sales or business development , preferably inCAE / CAD / PLM / engineering software . Strong understanding ofANSYS simulation solutionsand their industrial applications. Proven ability to managemid-market accountsand drive consistent revenue growth. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel across the assigned region.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in sellingANSYS or other CAE software(e.g., Altair, COMSOL, Siemens, Dassault) to mid-sized enterprises. MBA or postgraduate degree in marketing/business management (preferred).
