Job DescriptionRole Description:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Manager, based in Chennai. The Regional Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, develop strategic plans, and ensure customer satisfaction within their region.Client Coordination:- Act as a point of contact for regional clients - Ensure SLA adherence and high service quality - Handle escalations and resolve service-related issues proactivelyP&L Ownership:- Monitor regional profitability and cost control - Identify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing and routing - Drive performance metrics across the teamTeam Leadership:- Lead and manage a team of operations executives, procurement officers, and field staff - Train, mentor, and monitor performance - Ensure alignment with VFRYTs core values and processesReporting & Strategy:- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports - Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and process improvement suggestions - Collaborate with tech/product teams for feature feedbackExperience Required: 8+ years in logistics/supply chain with minimum 3 years in a regional leadership roleQualifications- Experience in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain Management - Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field - Proficiency in using advanced technological tools for supply chain management - Strong vendor network in trucking/FTL industry - Hands-on, problem-solving attitude with people and team management skills - Familiarity with logistics software and basic data tools (Excel, CRM, etc.) - Strong communication skills Hindi Speaking fluency is a plus
