About the Role:We are seeking an entrepreneurial and visionary Vice President and Business Head to take full ownership of our Residential Solar Rooftop division. This is a critical, P&L responsibility role that demands a blend of strategic vision, commercial expertise, operational rigor, and deep domain knowledge. You will be responsible for defining the market strategy, building scalable sales and operational capabilities, driving revenue growth, and establishing our brand as the leader in the residential solar segment.Key Responsibilities:P&L Management & Business Strategy:- Full P&L Ownership: Assume complete responsibility for the division's Profit and Loss (P&L), including revenue targets, cost management, and margin expansion to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.- Strategic Direction: Define and execute the long-term business strategy, market entry strategy, and product roadmap for the residential solar rooftop segment.- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual operating plans, sales forecasts, and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation across the business unit.Sales, Marketing, & Commercial Growth:- Revenue Generation: Drive aggressive revenue and volume growth by developing and optimizing multi-channel sales strategies (direct sales, channel partners, digital platforms).- Marketing & Brand: Oversee the Marketing function to build strong consumer brand awareness, manage lead generation, and enhance the digital customer acquisition funnel.- Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with financing institutions, real estate developers, and large channel partners to expand market reach.- Pricing Strategy: Develop and manage competitive and profitable pricing strategies, factoring in government subsidies, net-metering policies, and regional market dynamics.Operations, Project Execution, & Quality:- Operational Scalability: Design and implement highly scalable and efficient end-to-end operational processes, from customer onboarding and site assessment to procurement, logistics, installation, and commissioning.- Supply Chain: Oversee the procurement and supply chain strategy, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and high quality of components (panels, inverters, mounting structures).- Quality & Safety: Establish and enforce stringent quality control and safety standards for all installations, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and superior customer experience.Leadership & Team Building:- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and technical roles.- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the division's primary external representative, managing relationships with key regulators, industry bodies, investors, and major customers.
