About the Role :We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications and backend services.The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP frameworks, modern web technologies, and a passion for clean and efficient code.Key Responsibilities :- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and design patterns.- Design and develop RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend or third-party services.- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver user-focused solutions.- Optimize application performance, database queries, and loading speed.- Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring application stability and security.- Participate in Agile development processes, including code reviews, sprint planning, and stand-up meetings.- Maintain code versioning using Git and document technical specifications.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 2-6 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.- Strong knowledge of core PHP and experience with at least one PHP framework (i.e., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).- Proficiency in working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with third-party integrations (i.e., payment gateways, social media APIs).- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.- Understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and software design principles (ref:hirist.tech)
