Responsibilities:


International Legal Support:

  • Provide legal advice and support on international business transactions, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to cross-border transactions and global business operations.
  • Draft and review international contracts, agreements, and legal documents.


Contract Management:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and termination.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement standardized contract templates to streamline the contract creation process.


Global Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of changes in international laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and audits to identify and address any legal risks.
  • Develop and implement global compliance policies and procedures.


Legal Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct legal research on relevant international legal issues and provide timely and insightful advice.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and recommend necessary adjustments.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, finance, and human resources, to address legal issues and provide guidance.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when required, ensuring effective communication and coordination.


Dispute Resolution:

  • Assist in resolving legal disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal exposure and protect the organization's interests.


Training and Education:

  • Conduct training sessions for employees on legal compliance and best practices.
  • Keep the organization informed about changes in international laws that may impact day-to-day operations.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified Senior-lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in international law and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of Indian and international legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with global compliance standards and best practices.
