Headquartered in New Zealand and actively operating across India and South Asia, we are building the future of education.Role SummaryWe are seeking an entrepreneurial and target-driven General Manager – Business Development to lead and scale our B2B sales vertical across higher education institutions and corporate training sectors. The ideal candidate will be a senior professional with strong networks, proven results in institutional sales, and a deep understanding of EdTech products, certification programs, and learning transformation models.Key Responsibilities- Own and drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing partnerships with universities, colleges, and corporates across India and South Asia. - Develop and execute strategic plans to promote QualityNZ’s education portfolio (certifications, degree pathways, LMS, AI bots, virtual labs, etc.). - Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including pitching, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, and onboarding. - Collaborate with internal product, academic, and operations teams to tailor solutions for clients. - Manage a team of regional business development professionals and set KPIs aligned with growth targets. - Represent the company at education summits, corporate HR conclaves, expos, and government meetings. - Report directly to the CEO and present quarterly growth roadmaps and revenue projections.Required Qualifications & Skills- 10+ years of proven experience in institutional sales/business development in the EdTech, Education, Corporate L&D, or Professional Certification domain. - Strong C-level and academic network in Indian universities and corporate HR/LD departments. - Ability to pitch tech-enabled learning solutions and build long-term client relationships. - Experience in government tendering, strategic alliances, and global university partnerships is a strong advantage. - Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. - MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.What We Offer- Leadership role with autonomy and growth potential in a fast-scaling international education company. - Competitive salary + performance-linked incentives. - Opportunities to work with leading universities, banks, and corporates across India and New Zealand. - A collaborative, global team environment that thrives on innovation and impact.To ApplySend your resume and a brief cover note to info@qualitynz.educationSubject Line: Application – GM Business DevelopmentOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
