Job Description

This role will focus mostly on banking and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-learner willing to take on any task and a good problem solver.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with banks for banking operations
  • Assisting with daily cash management across various bank accounts
  • Producing daily MIS on liquidity
  • Obtaining 15CA/CB
  • Preparation of weekly payment summary
  • Review of employee claims
  • Credit card management
  • Licenses procurement
  • Producing monthly payment reports for accounting
  • Assisting with the execution of financing deals
  • Assistance in Daily Portfolio Transfers, Investor Repayments, EMI Repayments.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts
  • Prepare and record journal entries using NetSuite to support a timely month-end close.
  • Assist with timely payment of all statutory dues
  • Partner with various departments on accruals, vendor management and contracts management
  • Assist the team in preparing and communicating timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly cash projections
  • Assist with annual external audit, completing requested materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Masters in finance or related areas
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position
  • Experience in handling banking transactions
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get your hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Driven by data and highly analytical, a good understanding of Excel preferred
