Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager / AGM to lead our Community Sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare sales, particularly in hospital services, and will be responsible for driving community engagement, sales growth, and relationship-building within local networks. This role requires a strong leader who can develop and execute strategies, manage a sales team, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive community sales strategies to increase awareness and patient volume for the hospital’s multispecialty services.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of community sales executives, setting performance targets and ensuring consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, organizations, influencers, and key community groups to enhance hospital visibility and patient referrals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hospital leadership, marketing, medical teams, and external partners to ensure alignment in messaging and service offerings to the community.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the community, driving patient acquisition, hospital partnerships, and referral networks.
  • Health Campaigns & Events: Oversee the planning and execution of community health camps, wellness programs, and awareness initiatives to drive footfall and promote hospital services.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and patient feedback to identify opportunities for growth and service improvement.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and sales forecasting for the community sales team, ensuring cost-effective operations and maximum return on investment.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Regularly track sales performance, report on KPIs, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with patients, local businesses, and healthcare providers to ensure sustained sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field (MBA or relevant post-graduate qualifications preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing in the healthcare industry, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in community-based sales, particularly in a multispecialty hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
  • Excellent networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the local healthcare landscape, including community needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel and represent the hospital at community events and industry conferences.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed sales team.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics software.
  • Experience working with hospital management teams and other departments to align community sales strategies.
