About The Role

Vedantu is looking for a Social Media Community Manager.

V are seeking a talented Social Media Community Manager to identify, cultivate, and activate our student community on YouTube, and Telegram.

The goal of our community manager is to provide value to our students, and create superb value addition content for social media & telegram promotion to increase live concurrency.


What will you be doing?

- Undertaking a range of community initiatives designed to grow and retain the student community on Vedantu's YouTube channels.

- Communicate to students via comments & email and resolve their queries.

- Building a funnel to identify the problem faced by students, interacting with cross-team members, and providing feedback to the student's comments on Instagram & YouTube.

- Planning community engagement post, subjective & objective polls, notes & PDF sharing.

- Advanced management of social networks, creating posts and their measurement and analysis.

- Monitor and maintain the quality of posts on the telegram channels & YouTube community.

- Hands-on experience in growing the YouTube community, telegram channels/groups & Instagram channels.

- Brand and influencer engagement-related initiatives.

- Contribute and execute new ideas, and organize meetings with regional influencers to promote vernacular language Responsibilities:


- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive organic distribution strategies across digital and social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels).


- Campaign Leadership: Design and execute organic growth campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and brand presence.

Partnerships & Collaborations:


- Plan, execute, and optimize organic collaborations with EdTech brands, complementary organizations, and parenting communities.

- Identify, onboard, and manage influencer partnerships (nano, micro, and macro) relevant to student and parent audiences.

- Negotiate and close barter deals with influencers and partners, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.

- Content Initiatives: Coordinate collaborative content such as joint webinars, live sessions, and co-

branded campaigns.

- Analytics & Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and report on organic campaign performance, using insights to refine future strategies.

- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media algorithms, audience trends, and organic amplification best practices.

- Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships within the influencer and creator ecosystem, particularly in education, early learning, and parenting spaces.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, creative, and product teams to ensure organic initiatives support broader business and marketing & Experience:


- Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


- Proven experience 3 Years + in organic marketing, social media management, or influencer partnerships.

- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, organic content growth strategies, and community engagement.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.


- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools.

- Prior experience in EdTech, education, or parenting-related domains is a plus.
