Job Title - Head of Digital Innovation and AutomationJOB PURPOSE :- Need a technology leader with a flair for digital innovation to incorporate cutting-edge systems within the bank. The incumbent will lead a large team to bring about significant improvements in the control functions while ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines.- This position is created with the objective of bringing in innovative ideas and driving digital transformation in the internal control function, enhancing performance by leveraging necessary tools and technologies.- Identify areas for automation within the review and control domain and ensure project execution to eliminate/minimize manual activities to the maximum extent possible. This is expected to enable faster turnaround in identifying outliers (rather than exceptions), allowing assessments to be carried out in near real-time instead of as a post-facto exercise.- Facilitate building and maintaining a repository of knowledge that will help the team stay updated on new technologies, standards, emerging risks, and regulations.- Automate the review methodology so that professionals can constantly update and replicate the enhanced framework seamlessly across the department/country.- Highlight macro-level issues, in addition to focusing on non-compliant points, to enable identification of systemic risks that may expose the bank to greater threats-ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :- Minimum 25 years of professional experience, with proven leadership in technology, risk, and control functions.- Strong background in digital transformation, automation, and implementation of large-scale systems within financial services.- In-depth knowledge of RBI guidelines and regulatory requirements. Educational Qualification : Bachelors in IT or Computer Science/MBA (IT)/MCA/equivalent professional degree (ref:hirist.tech)
