Finanshels - Head - Financial Operations

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Operations to oversee and lead multiple finance operations teams servicing our clients in the MENA region. Reporting directly to the Founder, the Head of Finance Operations will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and financial integrity across all regional operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage multiple finance operations teams located across the multiple regions.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team leaders and members to ensure high performance and professional development.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for key clients in the MENA region.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their financial needs and ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
Financial Operations Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including but not limited to accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for clients
- Ensure client's compliance with local regulations and company policies and maintain high standards of financial integrity and accuracy.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize finance operations and enhance service delivery to clients.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial operations with overall business objectives and growth strategies.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on financial performance and operational efficiencies.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls across all finance Proven experience 5+ years in a senior finance role, with significant experience managing finance operations teams and client relationships in the MENA region.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices in the MENA region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
