Configuration Specialist II

OVERVIEW

This role reports to the Manager, Configuration Team. The Configuration Specialist II supports configuration activities for active and new client accounts across all TI Products. The Configuration Specialist II will be required to meet all client timelines and work in conjunction with the Technical Services and Operations Teams in order to facilitate the client on-boarding process and configuration of new TI rooms and applications. This role may

require leading special projects and ensuring deliverables are met in accordance with project schedules.


DESCRIPTION

  • Serve as an advanced member of the Configuration Team and work with cross-functional teams on the implementation of new and existing client projects
  • Work to become an expert in Trial Interactive features and functionality including Global Learn (LMS)
  • Manage external and internal documentation such as work instructions, QC checklists and knowledge base entries
  • Configure application settings in Trial Interactive as per project requirements and execute quality control measures to ensure client and project expectations are met
  • Produce high quality deliverables and ensure junior members of the team are properly trained in addition to providing oversight and mentorship
  • Assist Technical Services and Project Mangers in fulfilling client expectations as it relates to TI application configurations
  • Perform other special projects or duties when required such as validation and UAT script execution and participating in integration projects to understand the impact on TI application settings
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of various technological concepts
  • Hands-on knowledge of the Trial Interactive product suite, with a concentration in Study Start Up (SSU), Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF), Collaborative Workspace, and Content Management System
  • Knowledge of clinical development phases and processes
  • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experience
  • Minimum 6 months – 4 years of experience in the IT and/or Life Sciences industry
  • Experience with rolling out technological initiatives in a collaborative environment


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Practical experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO experience preferred) such as management of eTMF and understanding of the DIA reference model
