OVERVIEW This role reports to the Manager, Configuration Team. The Configuration Specialist I supports configuration activities for active and new client accounts across all TI Products. The Configuration Specialist I will be required to meet all client timelines and work in conjunction with the Technical Services and Operations Teams in order to facilitate the client on-boarding process and configuration of new TI rooms and applications. DESCRIPTION Serve as a junior member of the Configuration Team and work with cross-functional teams on the implementation of new and existing client projects Work to become an expert in Trial Interactive features and functionality Manage external and internal documentation and files as required Configure application settings in Trial Interactive as per project requirements and execute quality control measures to ensure client and project expectations are met Produce high quality deliverables Assist Technical Services and Project Mangers in fulfilling client expectations as it relates to TI application configurations Perform other special projects or duties when required such as validation and UAT script execution and participate in integration projects to understand the impact on TI application settings Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor REQUIRED SKILLS Knowledge of various technological concepts General knowledge of the Trial Interactive product suite, with a concentration in Study Start Up (SSU), Electronic Trial Master File (e TMF), Collaborative Workspace, and Content Management System, amongst others Knowledge of clinical development phases and processes Superior written and spoken communication skills in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experience 0-2 years of experience in the IT and/or Life Sciences industry Experience with rolling out technological initiatives in a collaborative environment DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of or experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO experience preferred) Knowledge of technology within the industry Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures Build relationships with clients and co-workers Ability to work independently and as part of a team Take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service
