This role is for ahands-on engineering leaderwho combines deep technical acumen, product intuition, and operational excellence — someone who thrives on solving complex engineering problems while delivering user experiences that feel magical. You’ll lead multiple high-performing teams across geographies, driving theexecution of product features, scalability initiatives, and AI-first innovations . You’ll collaborate closely withProduct, Design, Data Science, and Customer teamsto translate business goals into technical roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes. You will be theengineering bar-raiser— setting the tone for technical excellence, speed, and accountability across the organization.What You’ll Own As aSenior Engineering Manager , you will own the complete delivery and quality of our product engineering initiatives: Lead thetechnical direction, architecture, and quality barfor customer-facing product systems. Driveexecution, velocity, and reliabilityacross multiple teams to meet business goals. Instill a10x engineering culturefocused on autonomy, impact, and craftsmanship. Partner with Product and Design to shape customer experiences with anAI-first mindset , leveraging LLMs, personalization, and automation. Ensure that engineering teams execute withextreme ownership , from idea to production to iteration. Manage and grow top-tier engineering talent, creating a culture of learning and excellence. Interface withcustomers and product managers across time zonesto understand needs, gather feedback, and translate insights into technical priorities. Deliver withpredictability and precision , driving programs that meet scope, schedule, and quality goals. Establish and scaleengineering best practicesin clean code, observability, performance, CI/CD, and quality automation.What You’ll Do Be Hands-On:Stay deeply involved in hands-on coding, technical decisions, designing systems, and driving optimizations. Lead by example with clarity and technical depth. Drive Engineering Quality:Implement mechanisms for continuous improvement in architecture, testing, and reliability. Be the champion for quality and excellence in everything shipped. AI-First Product Delivery:Partner with AI and Data teams to embed AI capabilities — recommendations, personalization, conversational features — across core products. Raise the Bar:Coach teams on scalable design patterns, coding practices, and problem-solving approaches that improve velocity and maintainability. Program Management:Own complex, multi-quarter initiatives — ensuring clear communication, predictable delivery, and risk mitigation. Stakeholder Alignment:Collaborate across Product, CX, Sales, and Customer Engineering to align priorities and manage dependencies effectively. Measure and Optimize:Define success metrics (latency, quality, user engagement) and drive accountability through data-driven insights. Mentor Future Leaders:Develop engineering managers, leads, and senior engineers into high-impact contributors.What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Experience:10+ years in software engineering, with at least 4 years managing high-performing product or platform engineering teams. Hands-On Technical Expertise:Strong background in system design, scalable architectures, APIs, and modern frameworks. Ability to deep-dive into code, architecture, and data flows. Extreme Ownership:Proven track record of end-to-end accountability for product delivery, reliability, and quality. Technical Excellence:Demonstrated ability toraise the engineering bar , set coding standards, and lead through technical rigor and innovation. Product and Customer Orientation:Experience working closely with product teams and customers to align engineering efforts with business value. AI-First Mindset:Strong understanding or experience integratingAI/ML systems(recommendations, personalization, chatbots, predictive analytics) into products. B2C Scale Experience:Hands-on leadership in scaling large consumer-facing systems (web, mobile, or voice). Program Management Discipline:Exceptional organizational and execution skills; able to manage cross-team dependencies and large-scale releases. Communication:Outstanding written and verbal communication; can articulate complex technical topics to executives and customers. Culture Builder:Passion for developing teams that value autonomy, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.Preferred Qualifications Experience inFinTech, Conversational AI, or AI-driven personalizationproducts.
