Job Opportunity: Executive Chef – Bengaluru & Hyderabad
A leading global food services company with operations across metro cities in India is looking for an Executive Chef to join its dynamic team in Bengaluru and Hyderabad .
Role Summary:
Responsible for developing new menus and recipes while maintaining the highest standards in compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) guidelines. This role also involves people management, vendor management, procurement coordination, and regular interaction with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary & Operations:
Develop new menus and recipes aligned with health and safety standards.
Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations and special functions.
Ensure consistent food quality and stay current with new culinary trends.
Train and guide subordinates on food preparation, hygiene, and efficiency.
Ensure kitchen readiness and adherence to production charts.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
Lead procurement processes and manage vendor relationships.
Ensure timely delivery and address escalations related to materials.
Negotiate contracts and finalize purchase orders.
Analyze market trends and ensure sustainable sourcing practices.
Maintain SAP records and manage B2B cycle governance.
People Management:
Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and oversee staff development.
Evaluate performance and guide career development plans.
Manage recruiting, training, and supervision of category managers.
Cost & Compliance:
Monitor food cost as per budget and ROI expectations.
Drive continuous improvement in performance and compliance.
Reduce site-level escalations and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Preferred Experience:
10+ years of total work experience in culinary or food service operations.
Mandatory: Post-qualification experience as a Management Trainee, Hotel Operations Trainee, or similar role.
