Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Business Development Director with over 12 years of experience in finance to lead and drive our international sales efforts, primarily focusing on markets in Austria and the United States.

This senior-level role is perfect for a high-caliber professional with a proven track record of identifying growth opportunities, expanding market presence, and building strong client relationships in the financial sector.

The Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the global business development strategy, driving revenue growth, and establishing the company as a leader in its field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on the financial sector in Austria and the United States.

- Identify key market trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for expansion, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, financial institutions, and key decision-makers across international markets.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and ensure their needs are met by tailoring financial solutions.

- Revenue Growth and Expansion: Lead efforts to increase revenue through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of services offered to existing clients.

- Implement effective strategies for market penetration, customer retention, and upselling in both regions.

- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals across different regions, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business development initiatives.

- Market Intelligence and Reporting: Stay informed on global market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the finance sector.

- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on market opportunities, performance metrics, and sales forecasts.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 12+ years of experience in business development, with a strong background in the finance industry.

- Proven success in managing international sales efforts, specifically in Austria and the United States.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and market dynamics.

- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
