The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is a team player, believes in Husk's values, has the inherent curiosity to find creative solutions to complex problems, and has an appetite for growth.
Objectives of this role:
- Drive the product and business-planning processes with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for product to acquire and retain customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
- Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they're met.
- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Build and lead KPIs for performance, acquisition, and retention metrics.
- Embed rigor around data quality and data-driven decision making in execution.
- Build low-touch processes, self-serve solutions, & automation
- Generate data driven consumer insights through product testing to fuel customer value and business impact.
- Be the scrum master and the product owner (define stories and detailed specifications) in engineering sprints.
- Run beta and pilot programs with new products and features along with regular reviews to take rapid decisions on products and features.
Who should apply:
- 2+ years of experience in Product Management role across B2B customer facing or e-commerce applications
- Proven track record as a product owner
- Experience with analytics, digital transformation and implementation would be advantageous
- Experience working with start-ups and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Previous experience in software and web development
- Experience in vernacular products (Hindi/ other languages) will be a plus.
