Position objective:

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.

- Fix corrupted data, coding errors and related problems.

- Develop and maintain databases, data systems - reorganize data in a readable format.

- Perform relevant analysis to assess quality and meaning of data across product, marketing, supply and operations functions.

- Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify problem statements and provide solutions.

- Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.

- Assign numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.

- Extract and analyze local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.

- Work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

- Recruit and manage a team of data analysts/scientists.

Requirements:

Essential:

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics discipline.

- 4+ years of experience handling data and data driven decision making.

- Knowledge of programming languages like SQL and Python, R, MATLAB.

- Demonstrated experience in data driven business analysis such as customer segmentation, customer trend analysis, churn analysis, demand forecasting, supply ops and inventory optimizations.

- In-depth knowledge of data visualization software like Power BI, Tableau.

- Experience with Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks.

- Technical proficiency regarding database design & development, data warehousing, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.

- Knowledge of NLP techniques and predictive modeling.

Preferred:

- Self-starter who is comfortable taking a task and delivering on it without micromanagement with preferred background

- Experience in managing a team of data analysts or scientists in e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, banking or new age startups.

- Experience with Metabase or similar tools.

- Understanding of AI/ML Modeling and IOT.
