The COO will lead and scale our D2C e-commerce operations in the USA, developing and executing strategies that drive profitable growth, enhance customer experience, and optimize operational efficiency. This role demands a proactive leader with a proven track record in e-commerce, digital marketing, and P&L management.
### Key Responsibilities
- E-commerce Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive D2C strategy for our brand website, LajoyaJewelry.com, focusing on growth and expansion in the US market.
- Lead the P&L responsibility, setting and achieving quarterly and annual financial targets.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities and digital channels for revenue growth.
- Performance Marketing & Customer Acquisition:
- Drive performance marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, SMM, and paid advertising, to optimize customer acquisition and retention.
- Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor and enhance ad performance, website traffic, and conversion rates.
- Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the US audience, ensuring alignment with the brand’s values and goals.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, product development, design, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and timely execution of initiatives.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage and collaborate with external tech and marketing agencies to ensure timely and effective execution of projects.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in all partnerships.
- Innovation & Trend Analysis:
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to ensure the brand remains competitive in the e-commerce landscape.
- Leverage data and customer insights to drive continuous improvement in the customer journey and online shopping experience.

- Strategic Leadership & P&L Management: Strong ability to lead e-commerce operations, with a focus on achieving financial targets and driving profitability.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in performance marketing, SEO, SEM, SMM, and data-driven decision-making.
- Tech-Savvy: In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, web optimization tools, and marketing tech stacks, with the ability to direct and oversee tech implementations.

### Experience & Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 7 years in performance marketing and digital growth for a D2C brand.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a $1M+ business through a D2C brand website.
- Prior experience in a startup environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in the jewelry industry is not required but would be an advantage.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in digital marketing, e-commerce, or project management would be beneficial.
