**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the company's technical vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the overall business goals. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends relevant to our industry.
- Product Innovation: Lead the ideation, conceptualization, and development of innovative, scalable, and reliable technology products that address market needs and differentiate us from competitors.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Architecture and Development: Design and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure software architectures. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the timely and quality delivery of features.
- Technology Stack: Evaluate, select, and implement the appropriate technology stack, tools, and frameworks to support our product development efforts. Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure the reliability and performance of our products. Define and enforce testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to plan, prioritize, and execute product development cycles. Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery.
- Research and Development: Stay informed about industry advancements and drive research initiatives to explore and leverage new technologies that could enhance our products and services.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, code documentation, and deployment processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact product development, security, or scalability.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or business-related qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role, overseeing the development of complex software products.
- Strong expertise in various technologies and frameworks.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
- Track record of successfully managing and leading engineering teams in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
