Position: BD Manager
JD:
- The business development Manager will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities for the firm, as well as expanding existing client relationships.
- This role will work closely with the leadership team to develop an execute targeted business development strategies, leveraging the firm's reputation, service offerings, and industry expertise.
- Proactively research and identify potential clients with targeted industries and market segments that align with the firm's expertise and growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, actively engage with prospective clients, and facilitate the sales process.
- Collaborate with the firm's practice leaders and subject matter exports to prepare and present tailored proposals, effectively showcasing the firm's capabilities and unique value proposition.
- Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and proactively providing solutions to drive client loyalty and expansion of services.
- Participate in industry events, networking activities, and thought leadership initiative to establish the firm as a trusted advisor and expand the firm's visibility and reputation.
- Provide regular progress updates and analytics on business development activities, pipeline progress, and client engagement metrics to the leadership team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the firm's overall marketing and business development strategies.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior members of the business development team to support their professional growth and skill development.
Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, client relationship management, aur sales within a professional services firm or the accounting/finance industry.
- Prone track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with C-Suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and developed tailored solutions.
- Pro efficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other business development tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior staff.
- Thorounderstanding of the accounting profession, industry trends, and regulatory landscape.
