The Role:

·Understand detailed requirements for upgrading existing networks, as well as re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth. 

·Resolve network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally. 

·Participate in telecommunications-related initiatives. 

·Research and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions. 

·Supports assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation. 

·Support for troubleshooting issue, identify issues and assist stakeholders in timely resolution of same. 

·Plan and Assist installation of Data Center infrastructure to support present and future Data Center requirements 

·Assist maintaining up to date documentation for Data Center Engineering function


Requirements

Must Have Skills:
​

·Networking, including LAN/WAN, Firewalls, wireless and Security technologies. 

·Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications. 

·In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, F5 Load balancers, proxies, TCP/IP, and related technologies. 

·Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL, NAT).

·Experience with cloud-native and hybrid network security solutions.

·Proficiency in creating and managing site-to-site VPNs and cloud interconnects.

·Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.

·Advanced experience with network monitoring 

Experience in SD-WAN deployment and support, with a focus on Palo alto
