
Technical Presales Director

Job Summary: The chosen person should possess strong technical skills coupled with good problem solving, prioritization, presentation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders. This will be a People Manager role, so prior experience of managing a team would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the SVP GM CAST India as well as the Global Technical Director in arriving and executing a GTM for the territory. Primary Job Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales management to plan account strategies, drive consistent pre-sales processes to ensure maximum conversion of opportunities Work closely with the SVP GM CAST India, Global Technical Director as well as the sales team to drive business growth in the territory Work closely with sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process Take an active role in the value positioning, value measurement, business case definition, change management and deployment management that is attached to any sale and implementation of the CAST platform within our INDIA partner’s organizations Balance team utilization by managing and mentoring a team of Senior Technical Account Managers and support in their skills development activities as well Prepare and perform VP/C level presales, pilot, deployment, and value measurement presentations Able to gain confidence of both the VP/C level as well as the development leads & Architects within the partner organization Keeping abreast of the market trends, product, and competitive landscape Contribute to enhancing the needed materials to industrialize our technical pre and post sales processes (demos, pilots, automation tools, training kits, deployment plans, value measurement processes and programs ensuring highest partner satisfaction). Liase with the product managers and provide regular feedback about potential product enhancements. Skillset and Qualifications: The candidate shall have at least 18 years of demonstrable, successful software experience in a pre-sale or a COE or a customer-facing role. Knowledge about project development and project delivery would be an added advantage. The candidate shall have the below core skills in his profile: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including an ability to communicate effectively, convince and drive initiatives at senior levels as well as to work with cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of the “ADM” world and Cloud (PaaS) solutions, business models and competitive landscape A builder and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on capabilities of a growing activity is a must have. Experience in Solution Delivery, Project Management and Service Delivery. Experience of working within Agile and Devops context would be a plus. Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in technical discipline; a master’s degree would-be a plus. Other Requirements Willingness and ability to travel locally in India.
