Social Media Specialist

Job description
Salary Range - 2.20 Lacs - 2.70 Lacs/year - no deductions.
Responsibilities include producing marketing and promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business. Please share samples of your work (portfolio or links to published articles/posts) along with your application.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio handling of social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Achieve marketing targets through the design of social media strategies.
- Manage٫ create and publish original٫ high-quality content.
- Keep content on social media up-to-date.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces.
- Edit and proofread written pieces before publishing.
- Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
- Identify industry trends and recommend new topics.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate marketing creatives.
- Collaborate and communicate with team and designers to ensure content is appealing and informative for the reader.
Qualifications
- Web Content Writing, Writing, and Proofreading skills
- Experience in developing content strategies and conducting research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Experience in the education industry is a must.
Experience in Education & Training Industry – Recommended
