Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales efforts for eClinical Solutions within the Clinical Research industry. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and establish Octalsoft as a leader in the eClinical Solutions space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-growing company at the forefront of innovation in clinical research technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and penetrate target markets within the Clinical Research industry.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to drive individual and team success.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and academic institutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and stay abreast of industry trends to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment of sales efforts with customer needs and market demands.
  • Represent Octalsoft at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership in the eClinical Solutions space.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to inform business decisions and drive company growth.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the SaaS industry, with a proven track record of success in selling eClinical Solutions or related technologies to pharmaceutical companies and CROs.
  • Deep understanding of the Clinical Research industry, including knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trial processes, and industry trends.
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of eClinical Solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales activities.
